Sonali Phogat murder: Accused PA forced Phogat to perform oral sex on him in the toilet?

PANAJI: According to sources in the Goa police, investigating the Sonali Phogat murder, the main accused and Phogat’s manager Sudhir Sangwan allegedly made her perform oral sex on him in the toilet of the Anjuna restaurant while she was in a dazed and drugged state. Media reports claimed the CCTV footage of the restaurant showed that the accused no. 1 made the victim consume the drugs mixed with some drink in a bottle and then took her to the toilet when she was in a drugged state. The CCTv footage shows Sangwan and Phogat were in the toilet for a long time and while there is no video footage of the sexual act, sources claimed that Sangwan made the victim perform oral sex on him. Today, NDTV reported that one more person was arrested in connection with the murder of actor and BJP leader Sonali Phogat in Goa. With this arrest, in all five people have so far been arrested in the case.

A drug dealer was arrested on Saturday night for supplying drugs to another dealer (working at the hotel where she was staying), who is accused of providing the drugs to Phogat’s associates, news agency PTI reported quoting officials. The owner of the restaurant where Phogat was seen partying the night before her death, and a drug dealer were arrested on Saturday. ALSO READ: Was Sonali Phogat involved in a sex scandal or porn racket?

The Haryana BJP leader’s associates, Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh, who were arrested on Thursday, have been sent to 10 days in police custody. ALSO READ: How rich was Sonali Phogat? Sonali Phogat’s net worth? Sonali Phogat’s wealth and assets?

While Singh and Sagwan are charged with murder, the restaurant owner and drug dealer are charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Phogat was forced to drink methamphetamine drugs (meth) by  Sangwan at the famous restaurant-cum-nightclub Curlies at Anjuna beach on Monday, the police said, citing security camera footage and confessions. ALSO READ: Sonali Phogat was addicted to drugs, family did not know, blamed me, alleges PA

The BJP leader was taken to St Anthony’s Hospital next morning, where she was declared brought dead.
