“Can Manage Cops”: Raj Kundra was on the verge of renting out a South Goa resort for porn shoots

MUMBAI: According to some WhatsApp chat messages, which have got leaked and which are doing the rounds on social media, Raj Kundra the owner of Vian Industries and the controversial Hotshots App in the eye of a scandal, was on the verge of renting out a 10-bedroom South Goa resort for porn shoots and wanted to convert the entire property into a hi-tech studio, replete with bedrooms, sets and also accommodation for actors who would be based at the venue for a week to ten days at a time to shoot short films and clips for his various apps.

Shilpa Shetty – Kundra’s wife already owns a popular beach-side property in Goa and Raj was very sure his staff could manage the cops and other authorities in Goa.

A source speaking to this reporter said “Raj was certain that the Goa police and other authorities including the Village Panchayat officials could be managed. We will have no scrutiny and no trouble from the cops and other authorities at all in Goa, ” Raj is said to have replied to a accomplice who asked him why shift to Goa, when Mumbai has better local transport facilities and internet and electricity networks are far more reliable in Mumbai as compared to Goa.

Raj is said to have shot back in reply to his colleague on a WhatsApp group chat, saying ‘managing cops and authorities is much more easier in Goa. The cops are chilled out. There is no trouble from them. Internet and electricity are secondary issues. We can use a diesel generator and have multiple internet broadband connections, including wireless ISPs, but how do you replace nosy cops,” Raj is said to have asked his colleague?
