HYDERABAD: A sessions court here has rejected the anticipatory bail application of controversial Goan restaurant and beach shack owner Edwin Nunes, paving the way for his arrest.

The owner of Curlies restaurant at Anjuna, Edwin Nunes is wanted by the Hyderabad police in a drug-related case having CR No 374/2022 filed at the Osmania University Police Station in Hyderabad City u/s 8C, 22(C) and section 27 of the NDPS Act.

It was another Goan Pritesh Narayan Borkar, allegedly a major inter-state drug peddler who was caught red-handed and arrested by the special anti-drug enforcement cell of the Hyderabad narco police known as the Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) and the Narcotics Investigation Supervision Wing (NISW), who spilled the beans and squealed on all the others. We have learnt that Nunes is likely to approach the High Court in a revision application seeking a review of the court order, unless of course the Hyderabad Narco cops track him down before that and arrest him.
