Sajid Khan would have raped me, he tried to put his finger inside my vagina, says model Namrata Sharma Singh

MUMBAI: Elaborating on her horrid experience with Sajid Khan almost 12 years ago, model Namrata Sharma Singh who is presently in Goa on a shoot for a web series said Sajid Khan’s intention was to have sex with her that day several years ago, even against her wishes, when she had visited him for an audition.

Namrata has done a few OTT (Over The Top) shows and worked as a model for several print advertising shoots in the last decade.

According to Namrata, the incident happened in 2011, when she had gone to meet Sajid Khan regarding an audition for a film.

“He would have raped me if I had not to scream and push him away. He lifted my dress and put his hand inside my panties. He was trying to insert his finger into my vagina. He tried to penetrate me with his finger twice. But I pushed his hand away. That man is sex starved and a sex maniac. In hindsight, I think he should be punished. At that time, 12 years ago, I was only 21 or 22 years old and new to Mumbai. I did not want to take panga with a powerful person like Sajid Khan. I was told by many friends that ‘casting couch’ and ‘compromise’ is common in the industry. You have to sleep around to get work, but that does not mean the producer or director does it against your wishes or forces you to have sex. Namrata had done a Gladrags pageant in 2009 and was a successful, much-in-demand ramp model at that time during 2007 to 2009 and had walked the ramp for several known fashion designers of that time.
