Goan activist Kenneth Silveira, two others join TMC

PANAJI: Goan activist Kenneth Silveira from Chicalim joined the All India Trinamool Congress at their Panaji office today.

Silveira had unsuccessfully contested the general election in February 2017 from the Dabolim constituency and had declared a combined wealth of more than Rs 26 crore making him the richest candidate for the 2017 polls.

He also contested the Panaji by-polls as an independent candidate for the Panaji Assembly seat in 2017.

Two others, theater artiste Rohidas H Kundaikar and his wife, folk dancer Aditi R Kundaikar also joined the TMC today.
