Goa Cabinet Minister Milind Naik Sex Scandal Case: Victim Alleges Min Threatened To Kill Her

PANAJI: In a very shocking development late on Tuesday evening, the victim woman who is at the center of a major controversy concerning Goa Cabinet Minister Milind Naik in a horrific sex scandal, came forward to speak to this reporter, alleging that the accused Cabinet Minister Milind Naik threatened to “kill her and dump her body in the Karnataka jungles or the Zuari river, after chopping her body into hundreds of pieces”, if his name came up or his identity was revealed in the matter. The victim told this reporter, “everyone knows that Naik has hundreds of thugs and goondas working for him in Mormugao. I am scared for my life. He has already threatened me several times in the past. On one occasion, he even pointed a gun at my head and threatened to shoot me, if I went public with the case,” the victim revealed. Earlier during the day, Goa state Congress president Girish Chodankar made a sensational accusation claiming a state cabinet minister (he didn’t mention the name) was involved in a sex scandal and alleged that Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant knew about it and was trying to destroy evidence linked to the case. “A Minister in the Goa government, is involved in a sex scandal. By misusing his ministerial status, he has been sexually harassing a woman. When a Minister misuses his status and his power in government and sexually exploits a woman over a period of time, this is a very serious issue,” Chodankar told a press conference in Panaji on Tuesday. “In the photos and the video, the minister is seen in compromising positions with a woman. And the manner in which he is speaking to the woman (shows), he is not even fit to become an MLA. In the audio you can hear how after she is sexually exploited, the woman asks for her right and the Minister says ‘I am a Minister and I can do anything’. Meanwhile, Vasco BJP MLA Carlos Almeida who is the party colleague of Urban Development Minister Milind Naik from the same Mormugao taluka, spoke up on Tuesday evening and vouched for the allegations made against Naik.

“My friends have seen the videos and messages. The allegations are true. The sex videos, messages and WhatsApp chats exist. The allegations by the victim are all bonafide. The videos have been accessed by many people in Goa,” Almeida said, but refused to name Naik directly. “The videos are blurred so the face of the accused is not clearly visible,” Almeida told newspersons in Goa.
