Goa Cabinet Minister Sex Scandal: Milind Naik to be dropped from Cabinet

The BJP leadership in New Delhi has given the go-ahead to sack Naik, reliable sources both in Goa and New Delhi said. The order came on Thursday, with the BJP high-command taking a serious view of the situation, given the fact that Assembly polls in Goa are about two months away. (Read More Here)
The Vasco BJP MLA Carlos Almeida too came out strongly in support of Goa Congress State President Girish Chodankar, who first spilt the beans on Naik, saying that the “Cabinet Minister Sex Scandal” videos actually exist and many of his friends have seen them. Almeida refused to name the accused Minister and the victim woman, (whose identity cannot be revealed as per Supreme Court guidelines), but reiterated that the scandal and the existence of proof in the form of videos, whatsapp chats and messages is true and correct as alleged by Chodankar and people in the constituency have also seen them. He warned if not sacked, the scandal would harm the BJP in 5 states which go to polls next year.
