Vaishali was part of Tv shows such as Sasural Simar Ka, Manmohini, Super sisters, Vish Aur Amrit and Yeh Vaada Raha and was an active social worker.

According to media reports, she was harassed by her neighbour who wanted to marry her in spite of being married himself. Vaishali was engaged to a Kenya-based surgeon Dr Abhinandan Singh and had also posted on social media about her upcoming marriage. Earlier she was in a relationship with another man, her married neighbour businessman Rahul Navlani, who was harassing and threatening her after she broke off the relationship with him. Sources said Rahul had with him some personal and intimate videos and photos of both of them together and he was threatening her to release them in the public domain if she did not marry him.
