NEW DELHI, (INDIA TODAY): Narcotics Control Bureau Deputy Director-General Sanjay Singh has said there was an error by the first probe team, which was led by Sameer Wankhede after the probe agency gave Aryan Khan a clean chit in the Cordelia drugs case.

“Our investigation is an unbiased one, we have applied proof beyond doubt. The first investigation team faulted,” he said.

Aryan Khan has been given a clean chit by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the Cordelia cruise drugs case. He has not been named in the charge sheet filed by the agency in the case along with five others.

Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, was arrested in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs case early in October.

After several court hearings, lots of drama and 26 long days in custody later, the Bombay High Court granted him bail on October 28. He finally walked out of jail on October 30 last year. (INDIA TODAY)
