MUMBAI: As we reporter earlier, a Mumbai-based lawyer, Adv Chandrakant Ambani has sent a legal notice to Dj Dolly Sinha regarding her allegations against Bigg Boss OTT’s Manisha Rani and the ensuing media coverage of her press conference. The legal notice has a defamation claim of Rs 10 crore and they have demanded an unconditional apology from Dj Dolly Sinha for her “fake and highly defamatory utterances”.

Now more details have surfaced in this matter. It seems a group of fans of Manisha Rani have formed a group calling themselves “Friends of Manisha Rani” and have filed a defamation case against Dj Dolly Sinha. According to the latest update, the matter only relates to Dj Dolly Sinha and the ire of her fans is only targeted at her, because “being a Bihari herself she is not supporting Manisha Rani. Another group calling themselves “Biharis for Manisha Rani” is also active on social media, supporting their ‘Bihari friend’.

In the legal notice, the lawyer has demanded concrete proof of the allegations made and failing which, if Dj Dolly Sinha is unable to produce the same, he has demanded an unconditional apology and “payment of damages of Rs crore for the loss of face and reputation in the public eye”.

The senior criminal lawyer on behalf of Manisha’s fan group “Friends of Manisha Rani” has demanded an unconditional apology from Dj Dolly Sinha for her allegations against their queen (Manisha Rani) or threatened to take stringent legal and criminal action against the duo. It is learnt that the fans of Manisha Rani are hell bent on teaching Dj Dolly Sinha a lesson and have decided to drag her to court.

A few days earlier, while speaking to media persons in Mumbai, Bollywood disc jockey Dolly Sinha blasted and exposed the alleged lies, fakery and deceit of Bigg Boss OTT season 2 contestant Manisha Rani. She revealed that Bigg Boss OTT’s Manisha Rani used fake “paid news” articles in reputed publications and digital platforms to get verified on Instagram and obtain the coveted “blue tick” – the sign that the account or profile is genuine and is what it claims to be.

Dj Dolly Sinha shared and played a voice recording, that according to her was Manisha Rani’s voice discussing and arguing with someone on the phone she referred to as one “Saurabh” regarding the “blue tick” on her Instagram profile. The so-called Manisha Rani’s voice in the audio clip also referred to a “news article” on a reputed digital platform. According to Dj Dolly Sinha’s claims the audio in the clip is that of Manisha Rani and the reference to “Saurabh” refers to actor Saurabh Sharma, who was last seen in the television show Bhagya Lakshmi in a negative role of Aashish and who is supposedly a supporter of Manisha Rani.

She had also mentioned an incident involving a famous personality and actor Akshara Singh, who had interacted with Manisha Rani and explained how the latter ridiculed the former behind her back and had allegedly said very nasty things about her in her absence. Manisha Rani’s fans said that all the claims made by Dj Dolly Sinha are completely fake, frivolous and a publicity stunt.

Sinha had also alleged that Manisha Rani did not pay Sinha’s dues and a loan which she had given her and had further refused to even take her calls because she did not intend to clear the debt and repay the loan. “She (Manisha Rani) stole my clothes, make up items and even undergarments,” Dj Dolly Sinha had alleged during the press conference. Manisha’s fans have debunked all these statements and called them “out-rightly fake”.
