Raj Kundra was funding online casinos, online betting apps and websites: Sagarika Shona Suman
MUMBAI: Sagarika Shona Suman who first split the beans on Raj Kundra’s porn racket, today alleged that Raj Kundra was funding various online casino and online betting websites, apps and portals.
Raj Kundra has been allegedly accused of investing and using money earned from the porn racket in online betting and he asked his accomplice to replace one application with another on the Internet.
Kundra’s lawyers, on the other hand, say that the recordings seized are not pornographic and fall under the category of obscenity.

Apart from this, several transactions took place between Yes Bank and Union Bank of Africa, Mercury International account which are yet to be investigated, the police have claimed.
Sagarika Shona Suman has alleged that Mercury International is the World’s biggest online cricket and online casino betting company.
According to the Mumbai Police, a huge amount of data has been removed as per Raj Kundra’s instructions from websites which they claim to be pornographic.
The Crime Branch wants to probe if the financial proceeds from the app subscription, were parked into Shilpa Shetty’s accounts or not.
On Friday evening, the crime branch team reached Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s residence in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
The officials are likely to conduct fresh raids in the house as they arrived with Kundra, who was sent to the police custody till July 27, earlier in the day following his arrest on July 19 in a case related to the alleged creation of pornographic films.
He and his business associate Ryan J Thorpe were produced before the Magistrate Court at the end of their earlier three-day police remand on Friday.
Police sought an extension of their custody to probe the matter further. The police had earlier told the court that the 45-year-old businessman was gaining financially from the illegal activity of making and selling pornographic material.
The police claimed they have seized Kundra’s mobile phone and its contents need to be scrutinized and also his business dealings and transactions have to be looked into.
