CHENNAI: Bold Pakistani actress Mathira will most probably be seen in a Tamil film as filmmaker and director Maneesh F Singh has decided to cast her in his latest project. Sources close to the director said they have sent out a message to Mathira indicating their intention of casting her as a main lead in the project. It is not sure if Mathira has responded to the message.

The film, the title has not yet been revealed, seems to be a remake of the 1996 Tamil historical film Anthimanthaarai has a few bold scenes and an ample amount of bikini scenes, with a completely re-worked script and controversial dialogues thrown in. The film at best can be called a medium-budget film according to sources in the know and will be completely shot in Goa.

Publicist Flynn Remedios told media persons in Mumbai that the script of the film is ready and the director has met several actors and discussed the script with them. “The project is at an initial stage or what one would call the pre-production stage. Not much is known as yet, but I can say for sure that the producer and director are interested in casting Mathira in a lead role. I cannot share more details now,” Remedios said.

Who is Mathira?

Mathira Mohammad, also known simply as Mathira is a Pakistani model, actress, dancer, television hostess and singer. She is known for her bold item songs and wild images. She has done various item songs for movies like Main Hoon Shahid Afridi. She debuted in Pakistan in 2011 and in India in 2013 with a Punjabi movie  “Young Malang”.

Mathira was born to an African father and Pakistani mother and lived in Zimbabwe for about 18 years before settling in Pakistan.

She is a VJ, model and singer. She said she was not a stranger to the camera and claimed that there is a thin line between “being vulgar and being sexy”.

MUMBAI: Journalist and publicist Flynn Remedios in a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) has alleged that the news about Poonam Pandey’s death is nothing but a publicity stunt and that the actor is very much alive. According to Flynn Remedios, he spoke to police officials in South Goa – where Poonam is an accused in an obscenity case, and the officials tried to get in touch with Poonam’s family, but all their phones were switched off.

Another media outlet has alleged that Poonam Pandey did not die due to Cervical Cancer but instead passed away due to a drug overdose.

However, according to Flynn Remedios, Poonam Pandey and her PR team “created” the news about her almost instant death to ensure she gets widespread and tremendous national publicity, and will later possibly use the ruse or excuse that it was all done with the “noble” intention of creating awareness about Cervical Cancer.

Goans will recollect that Poonam Pandey and her ex-husband Sam Bombay were arrested by the Goa Police for shooting nude videos at the Canacona dam a few years ago. Poonam’s lawyers in Goa who helped her get bail were also unaware about the “death story”. The Investigating Officer (IO) in Canacona (South Goa) also said that he was in the dark about the matter. Poonam is on bail in the case and the local cops who registered the case are trying to verify the news reports, a source said.

Besides Flynn Remedios, controversial critic, actor and producer Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, also asserted that Poonam Pandey’s death was a publicity stunt and that she is alive. Sharing an image of Poonam Pandey, KRK wrote, “Her death news is a publicity stunt. Poonam Pandey is alive.”

Kamaal R Khan even shared a recent video of Pandey partying and claimed that it happened just two days earlier. Actor Rozlyn Khan – a vowed rival, commented on the post and claimed that her death news was ‘fake’.

Poonam Pandey’s PR later shared a statement that read, “This is to place on record that we have received a call from her family member (sister) this morning regarding her sudden demise and confirming the news (as posted on her official Insta id). We are awaiting further information from the family to update everyone. We will release official statement as we receive further update to be shared.”

However, Goa Police officials (and her lawyers in Goa) could not contact even a single member of her family in spite of several attempts to do so. In fact, one Goa Police officer commented that Poonam Pandey must be possibly communicating from another world or universe with her PR team and manager via telepathy, since they are able to speak to each other, but Canacona police cannot reach them.

Flynn Remedios via a post on X has requested the Mumbai police to look into the matter of the reported death of the erotica actor, ascertain the facts and register an FIR for creating public mischief and other appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code as well as the IT Act.

Who is Mahima Singh Puri?
Mahima Singh Puri was born in Guwahati, but finished her schooling in Bhopal and Hyderabad. Her family then moved to Delhi where she completed her college and holds a Bachelors in Arts as well as Home Science. She has also done a diploma in Sound Effects and VFX as well an Acting Course from an acting institute in Delhi. She is a trained actor and dancer and can do several dance forms including Indian classical dance like Kathak.

She worked for a short while as a model in Delhi and with a Hindi news channel as an anchor, before moving to Mumbai to try her luck in films.

Mahima Singh Puri has walked the ramp for various fashion events including the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week and Wills Resort Fashion Week as well as the Goa Resorts Fashion Week.

She first started doing Bhojpuri films as she was approached by producers from Ghaziabad and Bhopal. She has done two films till date and is shooting for the third Bhojpuri film. In both Bhojpuri films, she has done very spicy and hot item songs, which the producer claims will be super hit when released.

She is also doing Tamil films and is was recently shooting in Pondicherry. The film script is vaguely similar to that of the 2004 Hindi film Chameli starring Kareena Kapoor and Rahul Bose, but instead of Rahul Bose’s character features a 17-year-old college youth and is tentatively titled College Girls.

MUMBAI: In a shocking set of allegations, an upcoming actor and model Rayya Labib has alleged that the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is rigged and is promoting or featuring “paid appearances” and “paid participants” allegedly sponsored by illegal betting app outfits.

As widely reported in various sections of the media, Instagram influencer and former Bigg Boss OTT 2 participant Manisha Rani is slated to be a wild card participant on the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.

According to reports by Zoom, Manisha Rani was spotted on the sets of the show and has already shot an episode for the same.

Now, similar allegations have surfaced again.

MUMBAI: A famous Hollywood plastic surgeon is all set to charge an Indian actor a whooping Rs 35 lakh for a bust job. Model and actress Rayya Labib on Friday had made a startling announcement on social media, claiming that she has decided to go in for plastic surgery to enhance her breasts.

According to her social media self post, she has chosen a 38 DD size for her new mammary  assets which will be visible from the New Year 2024 onward if all goes well and as per schedule.

However her publicist Flynn Remedios said that the new augmented bust structure will not be ready before the New Year sets in, as Rayya wants to work with the best Hollywood plastic surgeon who is on vacation in Greece from 20th December till the 7th of January, 2024, which means the surgery will take place only after the 10th of next month.

And hold your breath, Rayya will be flying to a posh 7-star hospital in the glamour capital of the world – Los Angeles for her breast plastic surgery, which will be supervised by a world renowned cosmetic and plastic surgeon who has operated and given finishing touches to the likes of Madonna, Paris Hilton, Demi Moore, Samantha Fox and hundreds of other Hollywood celebrities, not to forget leaders of States and even mafia dons.

The cost of Rayya Labib’s surgery, including hospital and hotel stay, food, air and local travel, surgeon’s fees, medication and other medical expenses works out to a whooping Rs 35 lakh at the minimum, she told his website, claiming that her new, augmented breasts will be age and time proof, which means unlike conventional breast implants, which need replacement every 10 years, her new assets will not need any “servicing, replacement or maintenance” for the rest of her life. NEW DELHI: In a shocking allegation, a Delhi-based model and actor Ras Rani Chakraborty had alleged about ten days earlier that popular director, producer and actor Gehana Vasisth is not married and the entire episode is a publicity stunt by influencer Faizan Ansari. However, a Hindi publication and some sections of the media called Ras Rani a fake and even said the entire story about Ras Rani was cooked up. Ras Rani had alleged that the plan was hatched by Faizan Ansari for his benefit.

However, on Saturday evening when Gehana Vasisth herself declared on her Instagram account that she is dating a businessman man named Ram for the last few years and the “marriage news” with Faizan Ansari was just a web series shoot, Ras Rani was overjoyed.

She said, “They (the publication) called me fake and said I don’t exist. They should know by now what was fake and what was real.”

It was widely reported in the media that Gehana had secretly married influencer and wannabe actor Faizan Ansari in a hush hush wedding and even converted to Islam.

However, the 22-year-old model Ras Rani who lives in GK-2 in Delhi, publicly said that the marriage news was fake and Faizan leaked the photos on his own as a publicity stunt. She had challenged Faizan to prove his marriage to Gehana.

“Faizan is a liar of the first order. He is also a con-man. He has cheated many women. His “episode” with Gehana Vasisth is a publicity stunt and the entire media has fallen for his con,” Ras Rani told this website.

Recently, photos of the Gandii Baat actress in bridal attire with Datebaazi fame Faizan Ansari flooded social media, with netizens having divided opinions. It was also said that Gehana Vasisth deleted her controversial bikini video from social media platforms due to pressure from her hubby. But all this is nothing but a publicity stunt, said Ras Rani, claiming that it was all orchestrated by Faizan for his own publicity.

Allegedly, Gehana Vasisth, an actress cum model known for her involvement in the Raj Kundra scandal married Fazian Ansari, of Date Baazi fame recently, she had said. But there is no proof of the same, except for some photos which are unclaimed and according to Ras Rani, they were shot by Faizan Ansari for the publicity stunt.

Reports of Gehana converting to Islam were also doing the rounds, but it looks like they were just rumours and part of the fake news plan of Ansari. Netizens did troll the couple for an interfaith wedding and the fake news.

WASHINGTON DC: In a new update regarding the international pageant Mrs Asia-Universe, the global committee for the pageant, today announced that Haryanavi actor, Instagram influencer and model Nikki Dhankhar was shortlisted and selected for the semifinals. Earlier, the august Committee had said that the actor would represent India at the event along with others, after topping the list, from more than 220 entries from the Asian subcontinent. She was picked to represent India at the event, which aims to create awareness on global warming, climate change and rising sea levels through fashion and fashion pageants in different parts of the world.

The international pageant which features participants from more than 160 nations is a very prestigious, international show and will be attended by a host of Hollywood actors, directors, singers and other international personalities at the main function later this year.

The pageant is scheduled for August-September, though the exact date will be announced later.

The 28-year-old Nikki who hails from Rohtak has been modeling and acting for the last few years and is a very popular Instagram influencer in North India. In fact, she ranks among the Top 10 North-Indian social media influencers according to an Indya Tv poll.

James Smith Langford, the President of the Mrs Asia-Universe jury welcomed Nikki Dhankhar to the global pageant and wished her all the best. There will be a series of pre-events and Nikki will spend at least two weeks in Australia where the main event will be held, he said.

The Mrs Asia-Universe project is supported by Hollywood fashion photographer Lynn Baxter and his production studio Lynn Baxter Films who will be broadcasting the entire proceedings live on various social media platforms.

MUMBAI: The Reality show Lock Upp Season 1, which was hugely successful and aired on ALT Balaji and MX Player last year (2022), from February to June is likely to have its next season soon.

The immensely popular Lock Upp Season 1 was hosted by controversy queen Kangana Ranaut and saw a lot of well-known celebrities from the television world including drama queens, Instagram influencers and former Bigg Boss contestants like stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, self-proclaimed Swami Chakrapani, transgender Saisha Shinde, model Poonam Pandey, wrestler Babita Phogat, actor Sara Khan, politician Tehseen Poonawala, actor Payal Rohatgi, Tv actor Karanvir Bohra, actor Mandana Karimi, former Bigg Boss contestant Prince Narula, besides others.

Munawar Faruqui was declared the winner of the Ekta Kapoor-produced show.

With the huge success of the first season, the makers are planning the next season, which has been in the offing for some time now.

According to one source, actor Rayya Labib has been approached for the next season of Lock Upp. Tik Tok star Akash Chowdhary’s name had also cropped up in some media reports.

Neither Rayya Labib or the makers ALT Balaji were available for comment regarding the commencement of the show or Rayya’s participation, but sources said she could be on board.

ALT Balaji has not announced any specific date as to when Lock Upp 2 will go on air, but sources said it could be on in the next two months and could go on for almost 3 months.

We tried to contact the makers, but no response was forthcoming. However, the buzz in the OTT industry was that casting for Lock Upp Season 2 is in full swing.
