Arshi Khan’s close friend reveals she donates a huge amount to charity each month!

MUMBAI: “Arshi Khan has a heart of gold. She is a philanthropist and donates a huge amount of her earnings each month to charity. What we see on the Bigg Boss show is a different version of Arshi Khan. In reality, she is a very homely, kind and generous person,” her close friend and confidante Flynn Remedios revealed today.

“For the last 8 years, since I have known her, every year she celebrates her birthday with street kids. 4-5 times a year she visits orphanages and makes donations of clothes, sweets and other items to the inmates. She also visits shelters for children and orphans and donates books, clothes, blankets and shoes. She spends nearly 40 per cent of her income each month on charity,” said Remedios, adding that Arshi Khan is a very religious person in her private life.

Unfortunately, in Bigg Boss what the audiences see is a very different version of Arshi Khan. One has to be loud and fight a lot to survive on the show or else the makers evict you. You need to generate footage of a ‘rowdy and loud kind for this show and Arshi seems to excel in it, but this is not the real Arshi Khan, says Flynn.

Meanwhile, in an Extra Masala clip, Rakhi Sawant was seen sharing her genuine affection for Arshi Khan,after their argument.

She sweetly says, “Agar tu dua padhegi, meri mummy ke liye bhi padhna, tu bohot acchi hai. Tu jo dua karti hai tujhe wo sab mile.”

To which Arshi replies, “Haan main jaroor dua padhungi, ghar main jo ho masle ye sab bohot alag hai.” This statement of Arshi confirms that what she does on the show is only in keeping with the loud and noisy format of Bigg Boss, says Remedios, adding that sadly, the makers show only the noisy and violent sides of the contestants, because that is what sells eventually.

Rakhi agrees and says that they love and respect each other, they are great entertainers and they also fight but they are not enemies.

Later Arshi says, “Tum sabke good books main ho to sab ko jalan hoti hai, sab bolte hai isse baat maat karo, ye woh.”
