Vibhu Agarwal, CEO of Ullu Digital leaked victim’s personal details in public domain

Mumbai: The victim who has registered an FIR at the Amboli police station at Andheri West in suburban Mumbai, against Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd., its CEO and its Legal Head, today alleged that the CEO of Ullu Digital leaked her personal details in the public domain.

According to police sources at the Amboli police station, the victim’s personal (residential) address, etc., were leaked to several media persons and the same were published in various regional and vernacular newspapers in North India.

This is against the law and Supreme Court of India guidelines that stipulate that details and identity of the victims in rape and molestation cases should not be published or made public.

Agarwal was booked under Section 354 (C) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and other sections. Anjali Raina, the company’s country head has also been booked, Mumbai Police informed.

The police further informed that a 28-year-old woman was molested in the storeroom of Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd’s Andheri office.
