Vaishali Thakkar’s ex-bf Rahul Navlani suffering from serious psychological and psychiatric problems: Dr Pranav Kabra
MUMBAI: Dr Pranav Kabra, one of Mumbai’s best cardiac and diabetes experts and director of a social organization that helps people with psychological and psychiatric issues, opines that Vaishali Thakkar’s former boyfriend Rahul Navlani – presently in the custody of the Tejaji Nagar police station of the Indore city police, said the businessman could be suffering from serious psychological and psychiatric issues and behavioral problems
Dr Pranav Kabra, MD, is the Managing Director of the Raksha Multispecialty Hospital at Malad West in suburban Mumbai and also a visiting expert at some of the major hospitals in the city.
“From what I have read on the internet, Rahul Navlani, late Tv actor Vaishali Thakkar’s former boyfriend seems to be married and a father of two kids. There is a certain sense of responsibility that comes with being a ‘father’ of kids, which Navlani seems to totally lack. He was chasing, harassing, threatening and blackmailing Vaishali for the last 2.5 years. He could have gone in for a divorce if he really loved her. But he wanted her to stay in a relationship with him, even when he was married and having kids. This in itself reeks of irresponsibility and idiocy. Normally people think about their kids before they take any step, but Navlani seemed to be oblivious to the fact that he was a father and had responsibilities. He was educated, fitness conscious and took care of his body and physique. But mentally he was all messed up and screwed up with serious behavioral issues,” Dr Kabra opined, saying that Navlani should seek psychiatric counselling.
Meanwhile the late Tv actor Vaishali Thakkar’s Mumbai-based co-worker and friend Priya Soni today said one more woman who was earlier victimized and harassed by Thakkar’s ex-boyfriend has come forward to file a formal complaint against Rahul Navlani.
Navlani is presently in the custody of the Indore police in the jurisdiction of the Tejaji Nagar police station. A JMFC (Judicial Magistrate First Class) remanded him to four days police custody for investigation.
The second victim who also hails from Madhya Pradesh but lives in Delhi and presently is working for an airline as an air-hostess told the Mumbai-based model and actor Priya Soni that she will be filing a complaint with the Delhi police today.
