MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has totally denied all allegations made by various persons including model and actress Sagrika Shona Suman, who alleged he was involved in the Mumbai porn racket.

In a statement issued by his team, his spokesperson said Umesh Kamat is not associated with Mr Raj Kundra for the last year or more and had only re-joined since December 2020.

Kundra has termed all the allegations against him as totally false, misleading, incorrect and made by persons with malafide intention and vested interests for their own benefit. He denied knowing what Umesh Kamat was doing behind his back and without his authority.

Kamat is suspended from his position, as managing director of Vian Industries, pending investigation and a clean chit from the authorities, Kundra’s spokesperson said.

Kundra’s team also denied the allegations made by model and actress Sagrika Shona Suman claiming that Raj Kundra has never met her and that she was making allegations for her own vested interests and naming Kundra for her own publicity.

Kundra’s team claimed that Umesh Kamat – who has been arrested by the Property Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch,  misused the brand and name of Raj Kundra without his knowledge to promote his porn activities and Mr Raj Kundra had nothing to do with the same.

Umesh Kamat was acting on his own and Raj Kundra has nothing to do with his activity or his association with the UK-based production house Kenrin Limited which was promoting the App HotShots.

Kundra stated he exited the business last year and is not at all connected with the HotShots APP in any way.

He also clarified that he is currently not involved with Armsprime – the IT company which developed the HotShots APP and other APPS for models like Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey, besides hundreds of other models.
