Priya Soni spoke to Vaishali Thakkar about 10 days ago, “she was depressed, didn’t want to speak about marriage”

INDORE: Mumbai-based actor Priya Soni who knew Tv actress Vaishali Thakkar had spoken to her less than 10 days earlier. According to Priya, she had a dance show in Indore just before Diwali and since she was visiting the city, she decided to catch up with Vaishali.

“She sounded depressed. When I asked her about her marriage, she didn’t want to talk about it. She didn’t want to speak about her relationship. She sounded very unhappy and very disturbed and since she was not my best friend and we were not very close, I left it at that,” Priya reveals.

“She did not know what she was saying. Her mind was not at peace. Once she said she wanted to get married and was hoping to get married soon, maybe in December. She even said she wanted to go shopping in Mumbai and Delhi before her marriage. On another occasion, she said she never wanted to get married as she hated men. I understood she was not in the right frame of mind and did not question her further. I only told her to eat well and rest well,” Priya said.

According to actor Priya Soni who knew Vaishali Thakkar for the last 5-6 years, the latter went into depression and even became suicidal. Apparently according to Soni’s sources, she had even attempted suicide on one or two occasions in the past, but was unsuccessful in taking her own life.

Her neighbour Rahul Navlani with whom she had an affair, did not want her to get married to anyone else and wanted her to continue their relationship.

Rahul Navlani who is absconding and wanted by the Indore police in the Tv actor Vaishali Thakkar suicide case was blackmailing and threatening the 29-year-old actress using some personal and intimate photographs and videos, Priya Soni revealed.

He was obsessed with her, in spite of being married himself. Vaishali has mentioned his name in her diary and the names of some other persons also connected with her suicide or the last days of her life and her troubles are also mentioned in the suicide note she left behind.
