MUMBAI: In a shocking and scandalous disclosure, an upcoming Marathi actress has alleged that a few Goan politicians regularly visit Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to meet up with call girls and escorts for sex.

Madhuri Sangita Patil, speaking to this reporter alleged that on several occasions she has actually seen (with her own eyes) the politicians from the neighbouring state in 5 star hotels in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai (Vashi) in the company of known “actresses” who double up as escorts.

“Even I was offered to compromise. It starts with getting a sponsorship or funding for a project or role in a film. And finally comes to sleeping with the sponsor or financer to bag the project,” she explained.

“I do not want to reveal or mention any names. Not because I am scared, but because I do not want to be a part of it. I only mentioned the Goa angle because you asked me questions about compromise in the film industry. In Goa most people know which Goan politicians visit call girls in Mumbai. It’s their personal life. Everyone is free to lead their life the way they want to.”

“I have been in this industry for nearly two years now. Though I am a struggler or new comer, I have actor-friends who have confided in me about what goes on and the dirty underbelly of the glamour industry. There is this much-married, middle-aged, powerful Goan politician, whose wife is also into politics, who comes to Mumbai (or Pune) to meet up with his favourite Marathi actresses once in two months. He has 3-4 regular favourites. What goes on behind closed doors, I can’t say, but they definitely don’t meet only to have coffee,” Patil revealed.

She claimed she knows of at least 3 netas from the coastal state who are regulars to the maximum city.

Patil said she did not want to mention names. “I do not want to reveal any names. Because each one is free to lead his or her life the way they want to. But everyone knows who are the 3-4 people I am talking about. This has been going on for years. It’s not something new,” Patil said.
