Did Rape-Accused Pilot Akshat Sethi Insist That Victim Tv Actress Smoke Cannabis

MUMBAI: In a new twist to the Tv actress-Air India Pilot rape case, the victim may have been asked or forced to smoke rolled cigarettes or joints containing cannabis.

According to a media report, the victim  has stated that the pilot smoked several cigarettes before he raped her. He also consumed 3-4 glasses of wine.

The Oshiwara Police are investigating the case and are yet to record the detailed statement of the victim. The victim’s brief statement was recorded at the time of registering the FIR and her medical tests are currently underway.

According to a particular media report, the accused was smoking weed at the time of the act and was probably under the influence of drugs.

The accused pilot Akshat Sethi is part of the Page 3 party circuit in Mumbai and has several friends in the film and Tv industry, according to his WhatsApp chats and social media accounts.

He is currently absconding and the police have launched a manhunt to trace him. His phone and mobile no has been put under technical surveillance and the police are likely to arrest him very soon.
