“Will file intervention application in bail hearing in the interest of justice,” Rayya Labib on Sheezan’s lawyer’s statement

MUMBAI: Responding to arrested Tv actor Sheezan Khan’s lawyer’s statement that there was a ‘secret boyfriend’ in the late Tunisha Sharma’s life, her friend of the last 3-4 years, Rayya Labib termed it as “bullshit” and an “attempt to create a new narrative”.

“She will probably file an intervention application in the bail hearing at the Thane sessions court. Section 306 IPC is a serious offence and Sessions triable, which carries a maximum punishment of 10 years. The police investigation in going on. As far as the allegations regarding a ‘secret boyfriend’ go, Rayya said Tunisha had shared all her ATM and debit card passwords with Sheezan.

“He used to use them to withdraw cash and knew all the details about her finances. Tunisha gave Sheezan very expensive gifts running into several thousand INR. Her UPI id, credit card details and other confidential financial information was with Sheezan who can misuse it once he is out on bail,” Rayya said.
