MUMBAI: Actor Rayya Labib whose Instagram account was hacked on Wednesday late evening, was also threatened and abused online on social media platforms by Sheezan Khan’s fans and others. The 27-year-old, Mumbai-based, Assam-born actor’s legal team has decided to file a police complaint in the matter against the threatening and abusive messages, her publicist said.

On Wednesday late evening, the 27-year-old actor lost access to her Instagram account and was unable to log in to her Insta profile in spite of trying all options and password reset methods.

In a statement issued by her management on Thursday morning, Actor Rayya Labib squarely blamed Tv actor Sheezan Khan’s over jealous fans for the mischief.

The statement said Rayya’s Instagram account, which is 5 years old, was hacked by Pakistani fans and hackers supporting Sheezan M. Khan who had earlier threatened her with very abusive language on her Instagram posts.

The account which was managed by Rayya as well as her social media team was locked out and no amount of tweaking or password reset attempts could solve the problem.

“I tried to change my password and other ‘account details’, but the hacker has changed everything. I am not able to reset my password or gain access to my Instagram account. I suspect this mischief is played by some Sheezan Khan fans as I have been speaking against the Tv actor for the last few days in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case,” Rayya said.

She filed a written police complaint on Thursday evening with the Mumbai police at the Oshiwara police station, her manager and publicist informed.
