Calangute hotel-MP politician-call girls case: Woman claims pimp promised them Rs 2 lakh for a day

MUMBAI: The alleged and so-called case of a senior Madhya Pradesh politician who along with two associates were beaten up (read the original story here) by commercial sex workers (CSWs) at a premium hotel at Calangute in North Goa, after the former tried to run away without clearing their payments, has now taken a new turn.

A Mumbai-based model Madhuri Sangita Patil who was also approached by the pimp involved in the case for the same (or similar) assignment said the Goa-based ‘dalal’ who said his name was ‘John’ had approached at least 4-6 women from Mumbai promising them Rs 2 lakh per day.

According to Madhuri Sangita Patil, “In the last week of February, I was approached by a person who introduced himself as one John from Goa, and who said there was a Holi festival party in Goa and I would be paid Rs 2 lakh for one day, if I was willing to have sex with a VIP client. He did not mention the name of the client or reveal his identity. I flatly refused and told him, I would inform the police if he called me again with such an offer. After about two days, the same ‘dalal’ ‘John’ called me again, saying a producer from Delhi was willing to sign me on for a main lead role in a Hindi film, if I was ready to ‘compromise’ with him and spend a day with him in Goa over the weekend. He said I would be paid Rs one lakh as signing amount for the film. I told him to go to hell and never call me again and I immediately blocked the phone number. Later on after a few days, I came to know that at least 4-6 women from Mumbai – all of them upcoming actors were approached by the same individual from Goa with similar offers,” Madhuri told this reporter.

While almost all of the approached women refused point blank, apparently two women agreed and went along with the plan, only to realize upon landing in Goa that there was no film and it was an outright sex racket and they had walked into a flesh trade trap set up by “John”. Read more here
