In Delhi, Aftab Poonawalla visited prostitutes and booked call girls online on escort websites for sex

NEW DELHI: In another startling disclosure, sources in the Delhi police said that Aftab Poonawala who killed his live-in girlfriend Shraddha Walkar had used the services of online escort websites and booked call girls and escorts online for sex, after killing his girl friend.

According to our source, Aftab paid an advance of Rs 5000 on three occasions and the rest in cash on meeting the escort. He used to call for the sex workers, after killing Shraddha in May.

In all probability, Shraddha’s cut up body was lying in his freezer, when the first of the sex workers visited him in June this year, our source said.

Aftab had used the services of online booking of escorts and call girls on 3-4 occasions between June and September police sources told this reporter after analyzing his online transactions and online payments made to various people.

Aftab used to charge Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 for promoting restaurants and food outlets online on his Instagram and other social media accounts and had called for the sex workers and call girls the very next day after receiving payments from his clients. He blew up the money he earned on marijuana and women, said a Delhi police official on condition of anonymity.

Meanwhile, according to media reports, the DNA samples of Shraddha Walker’s bones matched with those of her father’s blood sample, sources at the Rohini Forensic lab said.

The forensic investigation and DNA matching has confirmed the murder of Shraddha Walkar, and some of the bone bits and blood samples found in the cracks of the flooring at Poonawala’s residence matched the DNA of Shraddha’s father.

The forensic lab matched the blood clot and bones with the DNA sample of Shraddha’s father Vikas Walkar, sources said.

According to them, some of the bone and blood samples recovered in the tiles and flooring of the flat as well as those from the kitchen and bathroom shared by Shraddha and her live-in partner amd murder accused Aaftab Poonawala were tested by the Rohini Forensic Laboratory in Delhi.
