NEW DELHI: According to sources, Sonali Phogat was a very wealthy woman and her total assets were in the range of Rs 120 to Rs 130 crore.

According to a report in E Times, Sonali was the owner of a property worth Rs 110 crores, which also includes her Hisar farmhouse and resort.

Apart from the Hisar farmhouse land, which is worth about Rs 96 crore, the resort’s value is estimated at around Rs 6 crore. She also had nearly 50 to 80 tolas of gold according to media reports, but the real figures are much higher.

She owned houses and shops in Sant Nagar worth Rs 3 crore, E Times has said in a report.

While E Times has estimated that Sonali Phogat was worth Rs 110 crore, according to our estimates, Phogat was totally worth at least Rs 130 crore and this figure can even go up to Rs 140 crore.

In addition to the properties mentioned above, she had made investments in properties in New Delhi and in other cities. She had paid initial amounts or part payment and the rest of the payment was to be paid in installments.

Hence the actual value of her property cannot be ascertained as many properties which she had bought are either under development or not fully materialized. So their final value is a question mark.

In other cases, the actual value is not known and there are benami properties as well.
