Goan social worker and Human Rights activist Shreha Dhargalkar honored with the Sardar Patel National Award in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Social worker and Human Rights activist Shreha Dhargalkar was honored with the Sardar Patel National Pratibha Samman at a function in Delhi on Monday, 31st October on the occasion of Sardar Patel Jayanti.

Shreha represented the coastal state of Goa at the event.

The purpose of the program was to build the nation from the soil of various states organized at Lingayas located in Chhatarpur, Delhi.

On this occasion Shreha was honored and felicitated by many eminent guests for her social work and Human Rights activism in Goa and Maharashtra.

Shreha Dhargalkar carried the soil and earth of Goa to Delhi, wherein representatives from various states were present. The representatives from various states created a map of the country using the soil from individual states. The concept of the function was to connect people from various states through the soil, bringing the entire nation together. The event was an initiative of RJ Aarti Malhotra and Dr Tilak Tanwar.

Speaking at the function, Shreha said she will continue her social work in Goa – feeding the underprivileged, the poor, helping in the education of kids and other activities.

Several eminent personalities including BJP spokesperson Nighat Abbass and Bollywood actor Arun Bakshi, former military personnel, actors and businessmen were present at the event.
