Kolkata: A Kolkata-based model Shamita Smita Ghosh Saturday alleged that she was forced and coerced into working for the pornographic apps Ullu and Lattu, both owned by Vibhu Agarwal, CEO of Ullu Digital.

Speaking to this reporter on phone, Shamita Smita Ghosh who is a popular Instagramer said that she had no idea that the apps were pornographic in nature.

“I was told that only a part of my body or a side profile would be shown. I had no idea the cameraman / videographer and the producer who claimed he was shooting the film for Ullu Digital and for the Ullu App were using secret cameras to film the frontal portion of my body. I was partly nude, but only a side of my body was facing the camera according to the producer and the cameraman. The surrounding was dark and I felt reassured that my private parts including my breasts would not been seen or captured on film. To my shock and surprise, after about six months, when I saw the promos online, after being alerted by friends, I realized that they had used night-vision hidden or secret cameras placed in front of my body that captured my breasts and front,” Shamita Smita Ghosh said.

She also added that they gave her a script and made her “dub” for the film. But later on she found out that the “dubbed voice” had been used as a pornographic audio podcast for the Lattu App, also owned by Vibhu Agarwal.

She stated that she will file a complaint very soon with the Kolkata police after speaking to her lawyers.

IndyaTv.in made several attempts to contact Mr Vibhu Agarwal of Ullu App, but he was unavailable for comment. He is not answering his mobile phones and WhatsApp and SMS messages sent to his three mobile phones/numbers went unanswered. Attempts to contact him on the landline number at his Mumbai office also proved futile. Our reporters left messages with Ullu Digital staff, requesting for an interview or audience with Vibhu Agarwal to hear his side of the story, but no response was forthcoming. The Country Head and Executive Director of the company said it was not possible to reach Vibhu Agarwal. We will update this story when Mr Vibhu Agarwal responds to us.

Meanwhile a sessions Court at Dindoshi in suburban Mumbai, Saturday adjourned the anticipatory bail applications of Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd CEO Vibhu Agarwal and Country Head Anjali Raina to August 26 for further arguments.

The FIR was registered at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai by the former Legal Advisor of Ullu App and anticipating arrest both Agarwal and Raina had rushed to the Sessions court for anticipatory bail.
