Suchana Seth seemed very normal and happy one day before the alleged murder: Ashwini Sowmya Yashwant

MUMBAI: The ghastly murder of a 4-year-old kid, allegedly by his own mother Suchana Seth seems to have taken a new turn, with a Mumbai-based model and actor Ashwini Sowmya Yashwant claiming that Seth seemed apparently very normal and happy just one day before the alleged murder.

Speaking to this website, Ashwini Sowmya Yashwant who happened to be in the same area of North Goa, apparently a day before the murder and even bumped into Suchana Seth at a popular supermarket in the vicinity said that everything seemed normal.

“I was in Goa for a personal shoot and visited a popular supermarket in the Candolim area to pick up some groceries and essentials. At that time, I did not think much about the middle-aged woman in the queue just ahead of me. Only after her photographs were flashed across news portals and even on Tv, I recollected that this was the very same woman I had met days earlier in Goa. I was buying groceries and some other essentials and while paying the bill she was just ahead of me. I remember her face and particularly so because she had forgotten her money in her hotel room. She has just very limited money and wanted to purchase a few things, but had to return them at the cash counter because she was not carrying cash on her. The counter sales person asked her if she had UPI or credit or debit cards and she quipped sharply that she only believes in cash and will get the money from her hotel room and come back. She returned the things, taking only two packets of biscuits and some chocolates. Her son (as mentioned in the news articles) was not with her at the time. Since I was in a hurry, I paid for my items and rushed off. When I saw the news splashed all over, I remembered and face of the woman and also remembered that she looked quite normal, happy and unconcerned. This must have been a day before the murder, because according to news reports, the murder was committed 36 hours prior to her arrest. I am not sure when was the alleged murder committed, but when I saw her face to face, she seemed quite normal and happy and came across like just another visitor to Goa,” Ashwini told this reporter.

Ashwini Sowmya Yashwant has been modelling for the last 3-4 years and is an active social media influencer. She has also tried her hand at acting in the past and hopes to make it big some day on the silver screen. She has also done some beauty pageants in the past and is the semi finalist for the Ms Maharasthra International pageant.
