Sonali Phogat case: Curlies restaurant at Anjuna sealed after drugs found in toilet
PANAJI: According to media reports, the Goa Director General of Police (DGP) has been instructed by the government to order the cops to seal the Curlies restaurant completely.
Digital Goa reported that the state DGP has been asked to seal the premise of Curlies Restaurant and conduct proper inquiry into the matter, informed CM Pramod Sawant today.
“I gave instructions to the DGP this afternoon,” Sawant said.
Expressing concern over the involvement of local youth in drug cases, trafficking and peddling, Sawant said social awareness is needed.
Meanwhile, the Anjuna police on Monday sealed the Curlies shack and restaurant premises as it is the “scene of crime” in the Sonali Phogat murder case.
Meanwhile, Linnet Nunes who is the owner of the restaurant on paper, has withdrawn the anticipatory bail application filed by her.
