Raj Kundra’s PA Umesh Kamat doubled up as Roy Evans, HotShots’ UK-based content head

Mumbai: WhatsApp chats between actress Gehana Vasisth and Umesh Kamat that were leaked in the media, have revealed that Roy Evans the so-called content head for Raj Kundra’s HotShots app was none other than the Mumbai-based Umesh Kamat.

Kamat impersonated Roy Evans, using an international mobile number to give artistes and producers the impression that the APP was being run from the United Kingdom.

Kamat had used a UK mobile sim card to pose as Roy Evans – the UK-based content head for HotShots, the chats reveal.

India Today managed to access WhatsApp chats that reveals the real identity of Roy Evans, the content head of HotShots app. Working under a pseudonym, Roy Evans is none other than Raj Kundra’s aide, Umesh Kamat.

The adult movie industry works under the cloak of anonymity. After the arrest of Raj Kundra last month, the Mumbai Police has been investigating other people who were involved in the porn videos case. Through Whatsapp chats and tracing of phone number, it was found that Umesh Kamat had taken the identity of Roy Evans and was chatting with models and producers under the pseudonym.

According to police, Umesh Kamat’s pseudo identity was revealed during a panchanama after his arrest in February 21, 2021.

In November 2020, Kamat verified his UK number +447385 156599 and the OTP for this verification was sent to Pradeep Bakshi in UK.

Pradeep Bakshi is owner of UK based-Kenrin Ltd on paper and brother-in-law of Raj Kundra. Bakshi and Kundra handled the functioning of this company, reads the document.

According to police, operations of various applications like HotShots and Bollyfame were carried out through various WhatsApp groups like H ACCOUNTS, Bolly Fame, H TAKE DOWN etc.
