Mumbai Sessions court rejects ABA of Parekh Automotives owners Anil Shantilal Parekh and Vishal Anil Parekh

MUMBAI: A court of Sessions at Dindoshi in suburban Mumbai rejected the anticipatory bail application (ABA) of Parekh Automotives Pvt. Ltd. owners Anil Shantilal Parekh and his son Vishal Anil Parekh in a cheating case in a case registered at the Vanrai police station in suburban Mumbai.

The accused persons fearing arrest had filed an anticipatory bail application in the Dindoshi Sessions Court (ABA No. 1519/2022) after the FIR (CR No. 551/2022) u/s 409, 420, r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code was registered against them at the Vanrai Police Station. Two more FIRs at different police stations in Mumbai are also registered against the accused.

According to Adv Chandrakant Ambani of C A Legal, a law firm at Goregaon East who appeared for the complainant/intervener in the matter to oppose the ABA, the accused have cheated the complainants and a total of 3 FIRs are registered against them including one at the Kasturba Marg Police Station and another at the Vanrai police station in Mumbai.

A company director Keya Parekh, associated with the accused is on the run and is wanted by the cops, Adv Ambani informed, adding that there could be more complaints against the accused in future.

“After rejection of the ABA, we will take custody of the accused from the Kasturba Marg cops, after obtaining permission from the concerned Magistrate’s court,” an officer at the Vanrai police station told this reporter

The accused have a project under the name of Mansi Developers at Bhavnagar, Gujarat and run an NGO called Manray Foundation.
