“He twisted his feet while exercising and was taking steroids for the same,” the trainer revealed. ALSO READ: Was Karan Johar Romantically Involved With Late Sidharth Shukla?

The trainer claimed that Sidharth had twisted his feet and was prescribed antibiotics by a neurologist from the Kokilaben Hospital about two months ago.

He took a break for 15 days as the doctors told him not to exert his feet. Sidharth is said to have confided in his trainer that his stomach had begun bloating because of the steroids he took and had to do something about it.

His over exertion during workouts could be the reason behind Sidharth Shukla’s death, sources claimed.

However, Sonu refuted such claims saying that over exertion happens to those who are irregular in their fitness regimen but for Sid it was a way of life and was totally involved in it. Unlike those who often followed trends when it comes to diet he was against any kind of crash diet and loved home-cooked food especially prepared by his mother.

Actor Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise after suffering a massive cardiac arrest sent shock waves through out the industry. Even those not connected or interested in films, were shell-shocked after hearing the news.

The 40-year-old actor was rushed to the Cooper Hospital in suburban Mumbai on Thursday morning by family members, but hospital authorities said he was dead when brought in. The news of his demise left the film and TV industry in a state of shock. Since the news broke, his close friends reached the hospital and later went to his house to offer condolences to his family.
