MUMBAI: Cardiac and diabetes expert, Dr Pranav Kabra who is also the Managing Director of the Raksha Multispeciality Hospital and Research Centre in suburban Mumbai at Malad, has opined that Bigg Boss season 16 contestant Sajid Khan could possibly be suffering from a psychiatric disorder called hyper sexual syndrome, which makes patients mentally insecure about their sexual performance, thereby forcing them to assert their sexual drive and inadvertently imposing themselves on others who may be under their control.

Sajid Khan has been accused by several women of being a sexual predator and sexually harassing female actors, models, journalists and even fans, demanding sexual favors from them.

Now Dr Kabra has opined that this is a psychiatric condition and normally noticed in middle-aged, obese men who have experienced a certain level of success in their profession or line of work – a description that perfectly fits Sajid Khan.

Dr Pranav Kabra has suggested that Sajid needs counselling and psychiatric treatment. “Instead of terming him a sexual predator and calling for a ban on such individuals, we must treat them and reform them. As human beings, we must rise above the basic plane of existence,” he says.

Elaborating further, Dr Kabra said, “Even the law calls for the reform of criminals. Individuals with mental or psychiatric and psychological problems must not be labelled as criminals, but must be treated and reformed. This is our duty to the society and to the human race,” Dr Pranav Kabra stated, adding that one must always look at our fellow human beings with compassion and grace.
