Unknown miscreant flings ink balloon at Malisha Heena Khan at Noida?
NOIDA: An unknown miscreant flung a balloon filled with blue ink at Afghani-Pak actress Malisha Heena Khan near the Film City area of Noida near New Delhi, just as she was alighting from a car.
The miscreant was riding a motorbike and on seeing Malisha alight from the car, swiftly flung the ink-filled balloon at her and escaped. The balloon missed her and fell near the feet of the actress, who was visibly disturbed and sat back in her car and drove off.
Malisha Heena Khan who is of Pakistani-Afghani descent and currently Mumbai-based for the last several years, was in the news recently after she lost four members of her family in the violence and fighting at Kabul.
She has 5 to 6 immediate family members, including a younger brother and sister still living in Afghanistan, who are in hiding, she had said.
Her uncle, nephew and two cousins were killed in fighting as the Taliban took over Kabul in mid-August.
She had thanked PM Modi and expressed gratitude for being safe in India, even though the rest of her family could not make it out of Afghanistan on time, before the Taliban took over.
Malisha is an ardent and vocal critic of the Taliban and their government and has made her feelings public on several occasions on Twitter.
Malisha Heena Khan first came into prominence in Bollywood in 2019, when she supported popular Pakistani singer Rabi Pirzada, whose personal nude photos and videos were leaked, after hacking her phone, allegedly by the Pakistani intelligence agency for turning down the overtures of a senior member of the military.
