Tunisha Sharma case: ‘Ali’ is a hairstylist and is gay, not Tinder date, says Rayya Labib
MUMBAI: Refuting all the allegations made by Sheezan Khan’s lawyer before the Vasai Sessions court on Monday while arguing for bail for his client, actor Rayya Labib who is Tunisha Sharma’s friend, claimed that the so-called Tinder date ‘Ali’ is none other than a hairstylist and is supposedly gay.
“Tunisha always consulted Ali about her hair. He was known to her for several months. This Tinder date conspiracy theory is all false. This is a new ploy by the accused to sidestep the investigation and confuse the police and the courts. He is not her boyfriend or date. Sheezan’s legal team is trying to confuse the courts,” Rayya claimed and also posted the same text on her Instagram handle.
According to Rayya, Sheezan’s legal team has nothing to say and no proper defence. That is why they are making up such fake stories and fairy tales.
“It is such a shame that they are trying to malign a 20-year-old who is no more. She was a kid. Ali was a hairstylist whom she used to take tips regarding her hair. Even Sheezan knows this. The whole world knows that Ali the hairstylist is supposed to be gay. This is Sheezan’s idea and he has suggested this to his lawyer to confuse everyone, including the media,” Rayya said.
Meanwhile, according to a E Times report, Sheezan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra while responding to media queries regarding his statements in court said, “We have not given any statement. The matter was argued in court. We told their lawyer that ‘she’ is no more and we should move an application jointly to keep the media out of it. But they refused. I also made a submission to the court but they (Tunisha’s lawyer) also didn’t bother. I have not given any media statement.”
