MUMBAI: While Tina Dutta has accused Bigg Boss season 16 contestant Soundarya Sharma of buying 5 million fake followers on Instagram, model Priya Soni went a step further and said, “Soundarya Sharma wanted to buy 10 mn followers on Insta. I know about this, because the agency which handles Soundarya Sharma’s work was contacted by a friend of mine three weeks before Bigg Boss went on air. One of the agency guys boasted that Soundarya Sharma wants to buy 10 million Insta followers and that even she is not getting “x” rate.”

According to Priya, what Tina Dutta claimed was right. Soundarya Sharma’s social media accounts are boosted with fake follows and subscribers (because they are dirt cheap). That is why there are very few comments or shares, in spite of having millions of followers, Priya explained.

Elaborating further on this Priya Soni claimed that all of Soundarya Sharma’s followers are fake. The film and modeling industry is a small world, she said.

“Everyone knows what is happening in the industry. Soundarya Sharma was negotiating with Bigg Boss for the last three months and she knew that she may get the show. Hence she started boosting her social media accounts. Bigg Boss requires that the contestants have a big fan following on social media and the same is a pre-condition for getting selected in Bigg Boss. Yeh sab ko pata hein. Soundarya Sharma too knows this and was boosting her posts and followers for the last few months,” Priya Soni alleged, adding that all her followers are “paid fakes”.
