Aftab Amin Poonawala promised model Ishika Borah to introduce her to directors Siddharth Anand and Mahesh Bhatt?

MUMBAI: In another disclosure by model and actress Ishika Borah who hails from Assam, Aftab Amin Poonawalla accused of murdering his live-in girlfriend from Vasai near Mumbai had contacted her on social media, posing as a famous social influencer who had contacts with several top directors and producers in Bollywood.

He wanted to sleep with me, he was desperate for sex. I think he was obsessed with sex. He had seen my photos and videos on the internet and presumed that I indulge in “paid sex”. That is why he kept contacting and messaging me many times, Ishika told this website.

According to Ishika Borah, “He first offered me money something like Rs 40,000/- to Rs 50,000/- to have sex with him. The offers were made via private messaging on a social media platform. When I did not reply or respond to him at all, in his next message he claimed he was a famous social media influencer and he could introduce me to directors like Siddharth Anand and Mahesh Bhatt. He mentioned 2-3 more names of famous directors, but I ignored him and did not respond to him at all. He was desperate to have sex with me,” Ishika alleged.

Who is Siddharth Anand?
Siddharth Anand is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for directing action thriller films like Bang Bang! (2014), War (2019) and Pathaan (2023).

Apart from action thriller films, he has directed and scripted few romantic comedy films namely Hum Tum (2004), Salaam Namaste (2005), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and Anjaana Anjaani (2010) among others.
