Actor Arpita Mali threatened for role in Ram Rahim-Radhe Maa film “Ohh Maa”

BHOPAL: Actor Arpita Mali on Monday said she has been receiving threatening calls for the last 24 hours for her role in the film “Ohh Maa” which is inspired by the life of god man Gurmeet Ram Rahim – who was recently released on parole for 40 days after being convicted of murder and Mumbai-based god woman Radhe Maa who was also mired in controversy in 2017-18.

The film portrays the character representing Radhe Maa as running a flesh trade racket and blackmailing businessmen – as was alleged by former Bigg Boss contestant Dolly Bindra and Ram Rahim is portrayed as a sex maniac who deflowers virgins in the guise of promising them heavenly bliss.

Arpita Mali who started her career 10 years ago with Bhojpuri films also featured in ‘Inspector Chandni’ starring Rani Chatterjee, Aazaad Kumar and herself in a love triangle. Arpita played the character of a girl whose love later transforms into serious obsessiveness and mental anxiety.

She has also acted in a Maneesh F Singh directed film “The Green Terror”, which deals with Islamic terror in nations like Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan as well as the ISIS or Islamic State backed terror activities.

No police complaint has been filed as yet and Arpita said she had just switched off her phone. She is also likely to change her phone numbers as according to her that is the best solution.
