While former Saligao MLA Jayesh Salgaonkar, who quit the Goa Forward Party on Thursday, joined the BJP on Friday, Ponda Congress MLA Ravi Naik is expected to join the BJP either on Saturday or Sunday.

While the Velim MLA Filipe Nery Rodrigues wants to contest the upcoming elections in February 2022 as an independent candidate, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo is being dropped for his outbursts against the party. And Mormugao MLA Milind Naik is being sacked for his alleged dalliance that earned him national media coverage over the last few days.
