PANAJI: Goan activist Shreha Dhargalkar has commended the efforts of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of Goa, Goa CM Dr Pramod Sawant and the World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) for their efforts at making a swayampurna Bharat and swayampurna Goa and promoting the use of Ayurvedic products in the country.

“The decision to reserve 50 percent seats for Goans at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa is also good news for us as Goan youth now will not have to travel out of the State for state-of-art education in Ayurveda,” Shreha said.

“Ayurvedic products must be given a push. For centuries, ayurveda has been practiced in India and we must continue with this tradition. The focus on Ayurveda is a really good development, and I am all for it,” she said adding that having the World Ayurveda Congress in Goa is another feather for the State.
