Not just Faleiro, NCP’s Churchill Alemao may be joining TMC too?

PANAJI: It’s not just the Congress which is apparently at the poaching end of the Trinamool Congress in Goa, sources say lone NCP MLA Churchill Alemao may also be on his way to the TMC very soon.

Sources revealed that senior leaders of the party, including Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro, has been summoned to Delhi by the party high command.

State Party President Girish Chodankar and LoP Digambar Kamat rushed to Delhi yesterday evening.

It is apparent that the West Bengal-based TMC is trying to poach Faleiro and two of his close aides – former Calangute MLA Agnelo Fernandes and general secretary of the party Yatish Naik, who have taken great pains to defend Faleiro’s “anger” with the local party leaders.

Alemao had contested the Lok Sabha elections on a TMC ticket in 2014.
