MUMBAI: Sagarika Shona Suman also known as Sagrika Shona Suman is an Indian model, actress, social media influencer, stage performer and aspiring political worker.

She initially worked in the Bhojpuri film industry in North India, slowly moving base to the South, where she did Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. During that earlier phase of her life, she used a different stage or screen name and was not known as Sagarika Shona Suman.

She shuttled between Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai, literally living out of a suitcase, traveling to the city where work and assignments beckoned.

The Covid-19 pandemic-induced nationwide lock down in March 2020 changed the fortunes and lives of many and Suman decided to come back to Mumbai for good. In March 2020, Sagarika Shona Suman started living with her parents and family in a distant suburb of North Mumbai.

She prefers not to talk about her earlier work and films, including Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, etc., and exercises her legal right to be forgotten, at least the earlier phase of her life. She has strictly prohibited media persons and media houses from using old photographs and content, without her explicit permission in writing, as she wants to erase certain “bad memories and bad karma, under the right to be forgotten law.”

She shot into the limelight once again in February 2021, when she accused, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra of being the mastermind of a major porn racket and the owner of the soft porn streaming app HotShots. In February 2021, after her first press conference wherein she accused Raj Kundra of the above allegations, not many believed her and media houses deleted her interviews and quotes.

However, six months later, Sagarika Shona Suman was back in the news, after Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police and the Mumbai Police Commissioner termed him the main conspirator of the porn racket.

Sagarika lives with her family in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and is single and unmarried. She does not have a boyfriend and is a non vegetarian.

She is a very religious person and visits temples regularly, also doing pooja as and when time permits. She is a staunch believer in karmic laws, an animal lover and yoga practitioner.
