MUMBAI: If sources and Bollywood gossip in hushed tones and silent whispers, is to be believed, then late actor Sidharth Shukla and popular filmmaker and Reality TV host Karan Johar were lovers and even shared a private, romantic holiday in the Maldives. According to gossip and sources, the duo were in a relationship for at least a couple of years during the time that Sidharth Shukla was doing the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6 on Colors.

After the “Maldives honeymoon”, Sidharth Shukla was signed on by Johar’s production house Dharma Productions in a 3-film deal or contract. Sidharth was part of the first project Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, though he did not have a very substantial or major role in the film.

After Sid got Bigg Boss and made it to the winning the Season, his relationship with Johar experienced expected upheavals. Another reason for this strained relationship was the entry of Shehnaaz Gill in Sidharth’s life.

The SidNaaz concept or brand had taken off very well, garnering a huge fan base, and Shehnaaz proved to be a loyal and dedicated friend, who was devoted to Sidharth and also madly in love with him.
