Sajid Khan’s lawyers to move Mumbai court against Sherlyn Chopra’s complaint
MUMBAI: According to the latest buzz on Bigg Boss season 16, after actor Sherlyn Chopra recorded her statement at the Juhu police station in suburban Mumbai, as a follow up to her written complaint against filmmaker Sajid Khan, the latter’s lawyers have decided to move an appropriate court in Mumbai against Sherlyn Chopra.
Sources close to the Sajid Khan camp said that Khan’s lawyers are closely monitoring the situation. At the appropriate time we will approach the appropriate court for legal action in the matter.
“Right now the police are only looking into the facts and veracity of Chopra’s complaint. They have not taken any action. It is merely a procedure and protocol. They have to look into every cognizable complaint that is given to them and they are doing just that. This does not mean they have registered an FIR. We will move the court at the right time,” one of Sajid Khan’s lawyers told IndyaTv on condition of anonymity.
Chopra accused Khan of flashing his private part at her in 2005, when she had visited his residence for a narration and even alleged he asked her to rate his it on a scale of 0 to 10.
Earlier this month, Sherlyn filed a molestation complaint against Sajid and called him a ‘habitual sexual predator and molester’ while talking to media persons. On Saturday, she recorded her statement in the case and urged the Mumbai Police for a fair investigation in the case.
