“Anjali Arora is extremely selfish and self-absorbed,” Marathi actor Madhuri Sangita Patil slams Insta influencer

MUMBAI: Model and actor Madhuri Sangita Patil slammed popular Instagram influencer Anjali Arora calling her extremely selfish and self-centered.

According to Patil, the NGO she is associated with had approached Arora for some social initiative, but Arora’s management allegedly flatly refused and demanded payment for the social cause.

We made several attempts to contact Arora for her comment, but there was no response. We will update this story when she responds to us.

Speaking to this reporter, Patil said, “She may have millions of followers on social media, but she is money-minded and selfish. We had approached her for a social cause, but her manager demanded an appearance fee and First Class air tickets, besides a stipend to be part of a “Clean Mumbai’s beaches” campaign. The Mumbai-based 20-year-old Marathi actress Madhuri Sangita Patil along with a group of friends recently undertook a cleanliness drive on the Versova beach in suburban Mumbai, clearing up and collecting wrappers, plastic packets, rags, bottles and other garbage on the beach front.

Speaking to this reporter about the unplanned clean-up drive, she said since she lives around the Versova area and goes for a walk every day on the beach, it was an eyesore to see food wrappers and empty bottles lying on the beach.

Inspired by the response they got from other beach-goers, Patil wanted to replicate the idea across all the other beaches in Mumbai and approached some celebs to join the campaign.

One of them was Anjali Arora whose manager was extremely rude and only concerned about payment, Patil explains.

Patil has done several modeling assignments and also acted in Marathi serials and films in the last few years.

Anjali Arora is best known for her lip sync videos that she posts on different social media platforms. Anjali came into the limelight after her dancing video on ‘Kacha Badam’ song went viral on the internet.

In spite of several attempts to contact Arora for her version, she did not respond to us when contacted via her social media accounts.
