Raj Kundra moves Mumbai MM Esplanade Court for bail, claims no evidence against him
MUMBAI: NRI Businessman Raj Kundra, charge-sheeted as an accused by the Property Cell of the Mumbai Crime branch, in the Mumbai porn racket case, has moved a Mumbai Magistrate’s Court seeking regular or default bail on the grounds that the investigation pertaining to him is now completed by the Mumbai Police.
The Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police filed a supplementary chargesheet against four persons, including Kundra, charging them as accused.
Kundra claimed that upon filing of the chargesheet, it was evident that the investigation against him is completed and hence he was now entitled for bail.

Kundra submitted that after the primary chargesheet had been filed against nine accused, eight had been granted bail by the Court.
His bail application will be heard by the Addl Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s 37th court at Esplanade in Mumbai on September 20, 2021.
