Manoj Patil sold fake steroids, health supplements and banned drugs to hundreds of athletes: Sahil Khan
MUMBAI: The Oshiwara police on Friday registered an FIR against actor-bodybuilder Sahil Khan and 3 others persons for abetting the attempted suicide by another bodybuilder and former Mr India Manoj Patil, who is recuperating at the Cooper Hospital.
Sahil Khan has been accused of allegedly harassing former Mr India pageant winner Manoj Patil.
Patil’s mother and manager have alleged that this harassment led Patil to allegedly attempt suicide. Patil tried to take his life by consuming some sleeping pills at around 12.30 am on September 16. He was rushed to the Cooper Hospital where he is now recovering.
Finally, Sahil Khan broke his silence over the matter in a press conference in Mumbai and spoke up for himself.
He said Manoj Patil sold banned, expired and fake health products to hundreds of athletes and bodybuilders across India. The banned products included steroids, AMP shots or injections and other prohibited drug-based health supplements.
Sahil Khan accused bodybuilder Manoj Patil of being part of an international syndicate dealing, promoting and selling banned drugs and health supplements via the underground internet or Darknet as its known.
Speaking about the matter during the press conference, Sahil Khan said, “Yeh mudda mera aur unka hai hi nahi. Yeh mudda unke aur Raj Faujdar ke beech mein hain (This matter is not between me and him. This matter is between him and Raj Faujdar).”
He revealed that Raj contacted him and a few more athletes and bodybuilders like Junaid Kaliwala.
Raj Faujdar was also present at the pres conference. He accused Manoj Patil of selling him fake steroids that affected his health. When he got to know that he was sold fake steroids, he asked for his money back.
“Manoj Patil ko paise ke liye bola kyunki mujhe fake steroids mile the. Unhone bola ki de denge. Ek do saal se yehi chal raha hai. Maine 20-25 din baat ki toh gaaliyaan di. Mere pet mein ek saal se problem hain. Dhamkiyaan bhi di. Mere paas saare voice recordings hain. Main police mein complain nahi ki kyunki mujhe paise chahiye the (When I asked for a refund of the money from Manoj Patil, after he sold me fake steroids, he said he will return it in some time but 2-3 years have passed. When I called him 20-25 days ago, he hurled abuses at me. I am having problems in my stomach (due to the fake steroids). He even threatened me. I have all the recordings of the calls. I did not file a complaint with the police, as I wanted my money back).”
