Asia’s Biggest Fashion Pageant In Goa! 5-day Extravaganza To Rock India

PANAJI: Asia’s biggest fashion pageant and talent event – the Goa Global Fashion Week is all set to bring the bling, sheen and shine back to the coastal state, which is undoubtedly one of the world’s best tourist destinations. Not just one of the best tourist destinations, it’s also one of the best locales for Destination Weddings.

And one of the essential ingredients for Destination Weddings is undoubtedly fashion! With more than 190 designers from different parts of India and abroad confirming their participation for the Global Goa Fashion Week 2021, which is a part of The Fitness, Fashion & Glamour International Tour 2021, the event promises to rock India and the fashion industry in the country, after a huge coronavirus-induced shut down for nearly six months to a year, that put a full stop to big events.

Goan ace designers like Verma Dmello, UK-based Goan-origin Raymond Fernandez, Philu Martins, Monty Sally, ace designer Riyaz Ganji from Mumbai, Umair Zafar from Lucknow/Mumbai among the 190 others, who will showcase their creations at the Goa Global Fashion Week.

The 5-day event will be held at a 5-star beach-side property in North Goa near Vagator.

Choreographer Marc Robinson is on board and will be part of the team putting together this glamour event.

Mumbai-Goa model and actress Anita Shinde-Shetty will be walking the ramp along with 200 other models and showstoppers.

Bollywood is expected to attend this event in full strength and at least 5 to 6 A-listers will walk the ramp. This will probably the first big national event after the Covid pandemic, which brought the fashion industry to a total stand sill in India and Asia at large.

An exhibition of Indian traditional fabrics will also be part of the glam profile. Kunbi fabric from Goa and Chikankari from Lucknow will be on display at the show.

The Fitness, Fashion & Glamour International Tour 2021 comprises of 8 events – the Global Goa Fashion Week 2021, Mrs Goa International Pageant, Mr, Ms & Mrs India International, Mr & Ms Asia Universe, Ms Bikini Fitness International, besides others.
