Priya Soni calls for detailed probe into Tunisha Sharma’s death, raises doubts on suicide theory

MUMBAI: Echoing the views of people like Kangana Ranaut and actor Rayya Labib, dancer and director Priya Soni today raised doubts on the “suicide” of young Tv actor Tunisha Sharma and said she was very bubbly and joked about her life and her “lack” of a boyfriend.

Speaking to this reporter, Priya Soni said: “I have my doubts and personal opinion about the suicide theory. I do not want to say anything more at this stage because the police investigation is still ongoing. However, it is my humble demand that the police investigate all the angles. She could have been forced to hang herself. Somebody could have tied the bandage and forced her to commit suicide. There could have been more than abetment. The individual could have directly or proactively driven her to suicide and this is not abetment. It’s as good as murder,” Priya claimed.

According to Priya Soni, “Tunisha was unlucky in love. Guys find me too kiddish and small. Unko lagta hein mein bacchi hoon, Priya claimed Tunisha had once told her months ago.”

“A few years ago, she liked another guy, but he was not interested in her and was dating someone else. This was when she was only 16 or 17 years of age I think. The guy was 22 and was already dating someone else. She liked him but he did not respond to her. We were doing some dance rehearsals together and that is when they both met.
