MUMBAI: TV actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi who passed away on Friday while working out at a gym at Andheri West in suburban Mumbai was under a lot of stress and was possibly also suffering from hypertension and high blood pressure.

Sources claimed the actor was allegedly taking unknown injections, boosters and other steroid-like drugs to help him with his workout and training routine, lose fat and maintain a lean and muscular look. While we are not able to independently confirm the above claims made by the late actor’s gym colleagues, the tell-tale signs of bodybuilding drug abuse seem to be apparent.

Another gym trainer alleged that Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi could have consumed a combination of products along with caffeine-containing energy drinks that could have triggered a brain stroke or heart attack. Heavy or excessive caffeine intake via energy drinks when taken with other bodybuilding products or even an injection can cause a sudden super spike in blood pressure, resulting in almost-instant death, opined cardiac and diabetes expert Dr Pranav Kabra of the Raksha Multispeciality Hospital at Malad in Mumbai.

One more source pointed out that the late actor was under great pressure and stress due to financial issues and was having some problems on the family front due to financial reasons.

Yet another friend suggested foul play, alleging the actor could have been poisoned or may have consumed a cocktail of products or medication that could have led to a heart attack. The results of the postmortem report are awaited which will throw light on what exactly went wrong.

Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi was known for his roles in TV shows including Kkusum, Waaris and Suryaputra Karn. He was married to model Alesia Raut.

He passed away unexpectedly on Friday, at a gym at Andheri, his friends stated on social media platforms and in media interviews.
