Rayya Labib confirms Tunisha Sharma was pregnant and wanted to get married, adds she was depressed for the last 3 months

MUMBAI: Actor Rayya Labib who knew Tv actor Tunisha Sharma for the last 2-3 years and even interacted with her several times at a beauty parlour in Mumbai, on Saturday evening told this reporter that Tunisha looked “depressed and worried.

She even confirmed that there was a 95 to 98 percent possibility that Tunisha was pregnant and did not want to abort her pregnancy, but instead wanted to get married to her boyfriend and lover – her co-star Sheezan Khan, who unfortunately was not interested in marriage at this stage, because he felt Tunisha Sharma was still young and should concentrate on her career. “I am not hundred percent sure about the pregnancy issue, but there is a very high possibility that she could be pregnant, which was the cause of the big fight,” Rayya clarified.

“When I met her last, she said she was very worried about something important and serious. I did not ask her what it was, but I am sure it was about this relationship and pregnancy issue,” Rayya revealed, adding that while Tunisha was normally bubbly and chirpy, she would lapse into bouts of depression and anxiety.

“I am sure it was this pregnancy issue, but since we were not so good friends, she did not open up completely. She only said it was something very serious and concerned her life and death. Initially, I thought it must be some financial issues, but later on when she said the man she loves is not serious about her, I understood it was a one-sided love affair,” Rayya said.

“I personally feel Sheezan was playing with her emotions. He was not serious about the relationship on a long-term basis. He maybe just considered it a fling or was flirting with her or having fun. Tunisha was very serious about Sheezan and wanted marriage,” Rayya explained.

“She did not say exactly what was the problem, but I could sense that all was not well in her life. She once said that she was in a one-sided relationship. I did not probe too much. But I realized that there was a love angle or love triangle. There were problems in her love life. She was also depressed about a death in her family.”

According to Rayya, “She was otherwise chirpy and bubbly, but at times would suddenly go very quiet. At the parlour, we were normally together for 3-4 hours at a stretch and while she was talking and seemed very happy one hour, the next hour she seemed to slip in a tense and worried mood. I think her work schedules were also taking a toll on her personal and emotional life,” Rayya explained.

According to Rayya, “Tunisha was madly in love with Sheezan Khan, whom she considered as her boyfriend and soulmate. However, Sheezan was not serious about the relationship and considered her a very good friend or maybe a girlfriend but was not ready for marriage. Maybe Tunisha was a bit emotionally immature and insecure about him and took the drastic step of taking her own life after a massive fight between the two in the changing room on the sets.”
